When did you start contesting?
1996 (Some domestic contests and Scandinavian Activity Contest) followed with part time operation from OH2BAH's contest site in CQWW. It was an amazing experience to be able to run stateside pileup on 15M first time in my life and I got hooked immediately.
What are your goals in contesting?
I always do contesting for winning ;) I wish to break some more EU records and hopefully to be able to be in WRTC 2010 in Russia.
Which are your favorite contests and why?
CQ WW! There’s no contest like CQ WW. So much activity, great rates and a lot of work to do with multipliers. And 48h format without brakes ;) Also like a lot of RDXC and EUHFC. I prefer contests where anybody can work everybody.
Most memorable Contest, explain why:
Hard to say. Maybe 1997 CQWW CW contest from OH2HE (OH2U). It was my 1st contest from very big station and I had an opportunity to work with such a great operators. And it was our first European M/M victory.
Also my first SOAB effort from DX location as CU2A will remain in my memory always. I was able to score highest score in Europe and make a new European record (CQWW CW, 2005) with 1st attempt.
Sweetest Victory, why:
Yet to come… So far my 1st CQWW European SOAB victory in 2004
